Northern Stage is thrilled to offer Upper Valley audiences the World Premiere of a new musical adaptation of the beloved Newbery Honor book by Richard and Florence Atwater. Mr. Popper and his family have their small-town lives turned upside down when they receive a penguin from Antarctica. Soon, one penguin becomes two, then ten, eating the Popper's out of house and home and nearly emptying the family bank account until Mr. Popper comes up with a plan to put the whole family into vaudeville! Audiences of all ages will delight in the adventures of Mr. Popper and his feathered friends.
