About The Drowsy Chaperone
This cult classic comedy is a love letter to musical theater that celebrates what we love about Broadway; infectious show tunes, huge production numbers, and a great story. This show has a large array of leading roles, from a Broadway starlet who is giving up the stage for love to a pair of jovial gangsters posing as pastry chefs! The ensemble will be very busy singing and dancing up a storm in epic musical numbers. In this Broadway gem, everyone will have a chance to shine.

About The Team
This immersive experience will be directed by Eric Love, Northern Stage’s Assistant Artistic Director and Director of Education. Love will be joined by New York City music director Trevor Pierce and returning favorite Maddy Apple, whose top-notch choreography invigorated last year’s smash School of Rock! This professional team will give each student the guidance they need to improve their acting, singing, and dancing. The technical apprentices will be mentored by Melissa Robinson, Northern Stage’s Scenic Charge Artist.

Everyone who registers for the Summer Intensive is guaranteed a part in the show! The auditions are held to determine which role each cast member will play. Once you register, Eric Love will contact you to schedule your audition.
