Technical Apprentice Program

Prior experience not necessary. Enthusiasm required!

Northern Stage believes the artistry that happens behind the scenes is just as important as the artistry that happens on stage. We pride ourselves in having a fully professional and exceptionally gifted production staff, from our technical director, to our scenic artists, to our props master. This program is designed to train and inspire technical theater artists of the future. TAP covers the following technical areas: Set & Props, Scenic Artistry, Costume & Wardrobe, Lighting & Sound, and Stage Management.

The 2018 Technical Apprentice Program runs in conjunction with the Summer Musical Theater Intensive production of James and the Giant Peach. TAP students will work on this production in the shops and run crew for performances.
