Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended all live productions and programs. This is a very difficult time for everyone, and we want you to know how much we value our audiences, who are so passionate about our work, our artists, who bring such exquisite talent and vision to our stages, and our tireless staff. We will be working diligently to guide the company through this crisis and come back with renewed determination to “change lives, one story at a time.”
In the meantime, we invite you to stay engaged and join us for Play Date, our weekly online deep dive into the world’s great plays. We are also continuing to work with our education students, through Portraits of the Pandemic and a scaled-down online BridgeUP: Theater in the Schools. We hope that those who are able will donate to the Theater Life Fund to support Northern Stage and these programs.

2020-21 Season Ensemble Memberships
Although we don’t know what the future holds, we DO know that regardless of how the world may look, however long we must remain physically distant, whatever form it may take, Northern Stage will create great art for our community next season.
Due to our uncertainty about next year’s performance schedule, we have decided not to sell subscriptions for our 2020-21 Season. Instead, we have created the Ensemble Membership. With a 100% tax-deductible donation of $150 per person, this membership replaces our regular Northern Stage subscription and will provide one complimentary ticket to all of our professional productions in the year ahead. Once the performance schedule is solidified, we will reach out to Ensemble members before we open up seating to the public.
Your support now will ensure Northern Stage’s return in the future. If you are able, we ask you to become an Ensemble Member. Thank you for your consideration.
Frozen JR. & Million Dollar Quartet
On March 14, we announced that we were suspending our productions of Frozen JR. and Million Dollar Quartet until public health officials determined it was safe to gather together once again. Although we still hope to bring these productions to our stage, we have decided to move forward with ticket cancellations in order to offer each patron a “clean slate” for future interactions with us. For those who purchased tickets, either through a paid subscription or single tickets, we hope you will consider converting your ticket into a donation to support Northern Stage during these difficult times. Thank you for your consideration.
The following options are available for those who have already purchased tickets to cancelled performances:
• Support Northern Stage and donate your ticket to receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value.
• Credit your ticket value towards a future Northern Stage performance in the form of a gift certificate.
• Credit your ticket value towards an Ensemble membership to receive one complimentary ticket to each of Northern Stage’s professional productions in the year ahead (more information above).
• Send your contact information to our box office to discuss options.
If you purchased tickets to Frozen JR. or Million Dollar Quartet, please click the button below to help us best accommodate your request. We thank you in advance for your patience as our box office processes a high volume of requests.
