YES (Youth Ensemble Studio) Jr. is designed for students with a passion for theater in grades 4 & 5. Throughout January and February they will meet twice a week for Yes Jr. Academy classes to prepare for their February Vacation Show. Over February vacation week, they will rehearse and perform a 30-minute play that focuses on acting technique. Students in this program will also attend 3 days at the theater – 2 YES productions and 1 Main Stage Play. This is the perfect program for young thespians who love to perform.

Synopsis: Youth Ensemble Studio Jr. dives into the classic story of Robin Hood and his band of merry outlaws who live in Sherwood Forest. When the greedy ruler of Nottingham taxes people dry, it’s up to Robin Hood to take from the rich and give to the poor to keep food on the table. Full of action and adventure, this timeless tale inspires us to stand up to bullying and be kind to those who are less fortunate.

Scholarship and Payment Plans
In an effort to ensure theater education is accessible to all, Northern Stage offers need-based scholarships and payment plans for our education programs. If you would like to apply for a scholarship or set up a payment plan, please email boxoffice@northernstage.org and ask our staff to hold a place for you until the scholarship or payment plan process is complete.
