Much Ado
About Nothing

book by William Shakespeare
directed by Carol Dunne

MAY 5 - 23, 2027

What happens when two people who swear they’ll never fall in love meet their perfect match? In Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, the quick-witted Beatrice and Benedick trade barbs with legendary flair while friends hatch a plan to trick them into falling in love. Meanwhile, young lovers Hero and Claudio prepare for marriage, until a cruel rumor threatens their wedding day. Brimming with humor, heart, and some of the most iconic banter ever written for the stage, this joyous comedy celebrates love in all its messy, marvelous forms. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Carol Dunne, Northern Stage brings its signature imagination to Shakespeare’s classic love story.
