Student Matinee Performances at Northern Stage
Northern Stage believes in the power of theater education for students of all ages. Our Student Matinee Series offers schools across the Upper Valley and beyond a unique and inspiring space for students to experience professional theater with their peers. Student matinee performances are offered for all main stage productions, and are followed by talkback discussions led by our Artistic and Education staff.
Student Matinee Tickets
Tickets for students and chaperones are $20 + a $1.50 fee. We provide 1 free chaperone ticket every 10 students.

Reservations must be made via the Reservation Forms. Any request made through means other than the Reservation forms may not be honored.

Seating shall be subject to availability and determined by Northern Stage at its sole discretion.
We reserve the right to revoke the PURCHASER’S seats due to any audience member’s behavior, disturbance, or willful disregard of instructions during the performance, in which case the PURCHASER shall not receive any refund.
We do NOT provide transportation to and from the performances.
Upon receiving the reservation request, an invoice will be generated and delivered electronically to the PURCHASER.
Cancellation and adjustments of the total number of seats will only be permitted four weeks prior to the scheduled performance and must be received in writing. The total number of seats confirmed four weeks prior to the scheduled performance will be FINAL and reflected on a FINAL INVOICE.
Any cancellations or changes for any reason received after this time will not be honored and the PURCHASER will be responsible for 100% of the amount due on the final invoice. NORTHERN STAGE reserves the right to adjust payment deadlines in the future for PURCHASERS who violate these terms.
Total payment will be due one week before the date of the performance. If the full sum is not received by the specified date, we reserve the right to offer the previously reserved seats to another group on the waitlist, and ALL SEATS MAY BE RELEASED.
Groups will be required to pay for the full amount of their order indicated on the FINAL INVOICE, even if fewer tickets than reserved are used on the day of the performance.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, except:
If we cancel a performance, monetary refunds are available to the PURCHASER.
If school is canceled on the day of the PURCHASER’s scheduled performance, we will allow the PURCHASER to reschedule for any available performance. A monetary refund may be given to PURCHASER due to a school cancellation if no rescheduling is possible.
If a school cancels their reservation within one week of the performance and full payment has been provided, we reserve the right to keep the full payment of their reservation.
