Are you ready to get evil? Over the course of the week we will be exploring popular villains from musicals, TV, and movies! Villains like Scar, Miss Hannigan, Captain Hook, Miss Trunchbull, Ursula and many more! At the end of the week we will do a presentation for close family and friends. What a wicked way to start out the summer!
AFTERNOON
LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS! OH MY! (Afternoon)

A Northern Stage Favorite returns this summer, Lions, Tigers and Bears! Oh My! The students will get to explore different beloved animal characters from musicals, TV, and movies. Characters like Simba, Tigger, The Cowardly lion and many more! At the end of the week we will do a presentation for close family and friends. It will be a wildly good time.

Explore the magical world of wishing and dreaming with us. Over the course of the week, students will explore a variety of magical musical numbers. Songs from popular musicals, TV, and movies like Frozen, Moana, Wicked, Tangled, Aladdin, and many more. At the end of the week we will do a presentation for close family and friends! Come wrap up your summer by spending a hilariously fun week with us. Throughout the week we will explore some of the funniest plays and musicals ever written. Shows like The Producers, Something Rotten!, Guys and Dolls, Mean Girls, and many more! At the end of the week we will do a presentation for close family and friends. You will be laughing the whole way home!

CAMP FOR AGES 9-12
TWO-WEEK INTENSIVE: JUNE 15-26, 2026
A TWO-WEEK MINI MUSICAL INTENSIVE (Afternoon)
DATES: June 15-26, 2026 (No camp on weekends)
TIME: 1 PM – 5 PM
AGES: 9-12
PRICE: $600
Over the course of two weeks we will put together a 45-minute showcase presentation. Each student will get the opportunity to sing and dance in a variety of different musical theater numbers. This program is perfect for students seeking to grow their performance abilities in a fun, caring and exciting environment!

ONE-WEEK CAMPS: AUGUST 10 - 21
AFTERNOON
POP STAR DIVAS (Afternoon)
DATES: August 10-14, 2026
TIME: 1 PM – 4 PM
AGES: 9-12
PRICE: $295
Shine like a superstar in our Popstars Diva Camp. Throughout the course of the week the students will get to work on songs by popular pop divas like Taylor Swift, Adele, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae. At the end of the week the students will do a presentation for close friends and family.
DANCE, DANCE, DANCE! (Afternoon)
DATES: August 17-21, 2026
TIME: 1 PM – 4 PM
AGES: 9-12
PRICE: $295
Over the course of a week the students will explore musical theater style dance. Students will learn famous dance numbers from popular musicals like Singing in The Rain, Newsies, Hamilton, and Oklahoma!. At the end of the week we will do a presentation for close families and friends. This is the perfect camp for a student looking to get more comfortable with movement!

We welcome students of all experience levels.
A 25% deposit is required to reserve a space in all Northern Stage programs. Payments must be made in full by the program start date. In an effort to ensure theater education is accessible to all, Northern Stage offers sliding scale tuition, need-based scholarships, and payment plans for our education programs. Please click HERE to learn more. Northern Stage is not able to offer refunds.
Northern Stage’s refund policies for Education programs:
– Cancellations 60+ days before the classes begin: 75% refund
– Cancellations 30-59 days before the classes begin: 50% refund
– Cancellations within 30 days: No refund

We understand that some students are at different levels of maturity than their peers, but we design the YES program and its productions with specific grades in mind. With very few exceptions we urge you to sign up for the program/production that fits the student’s school year.
We no longer require Covid testing to participate in Northern Stage programs. Students experiencing coughing, sore throat, fever or gastrointestinal distress must contact program administrators to determine whether they can come to rehearsal/performance days.
If your child has a fever of 100 degrees or greater or if they have vomited two or more times in the past 24 hours, they may not return to Northern Stage. They are welcome back once they have been fever free for 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medication. For further questions you can contact Sam Empey at sempey@northernstage.org.
You will receive confirmation from the Northern Stage Box Office, and will be contacted by the Education department closer to the start of the program with a detailed schedule and an Online Student Intake Form. This form must be completed before the start of the program or the student will be unable to participate.
We will not have a ticketed public performance. However, on the last day of the camp we will invite families to come to a culminating showcase.
