Applications for the 2019-20 Summer Technical Apprentice Program are now open.

Northern Stage believes the artistry that happens behind the scenes is just as important as the actors on stage. We pride ourselves on having a fully professional and exceptionally gifted production staff, from our technical director, to our scenic artists, to our props master. This program is designed to train and inspire technical theater artists of the future. TAP covers the following technical areas: Set & Props, Scenic Artistry, Costume & Wardrobe, Lighting & Sound, and Stage Management.

The 2019 Technical Apprentice Program runs in conjunction with the Summer Musical Theater Intensive, Legally Blonde. TAP students will work on this production in the shops and run crew for the performances.
