Technical Apprentice Program

Applications for the 2018-19 Technical Apprentice Program are now closed.

Northern Stage believes the artistry that happens behind the scenes is just as important as the artistry that happens on stage. We pride ourselves in having a fully professional and exceptionally gifted production staff, from our technical director, to our scenic artists, to our props master. TAP is designed for students in grades 9-12 with an interest in technical theater. Six TAP Master Classes will be offered from October through April, which will include an educational experience from production staff members and attending a performance.  While it is not required to attend all six master classes, information learned in one class may be significant in a following class.
